Gustaf's Up North Gallery was highlighted on Friday in the local NBC affiliate's latest article for their "That’s So Minnesota Road Trip" series. The article featured 11 small businesses and historical sites, with our art gallery and gift shop topping the list! We are so honored to have been selected and are grateful for our loyal customers, who were undoubtedly the driving factor behind our high ranking.
Gustaf's Up North Gallery owner and CEO Jana Lensing sent the article to her family early Friday morning. "I learned about this article through Katie Malchow, who was interviewed by Kare11," Lensing said. "It made me feel hopeful that more folks would discover and support our little place."
The article's author, Gia Vang, writes "You might have passed through the town [on] Highway 8, but choose to stop in Lindstrom and you'll find it has a lot to offer." We couldn't agree more. Our gallery is often missed by passersby, but just about everyone who does walk in our door is overwhelmed and delighted by what they find!
Our 6,000 square foot gallery boasts a display of locally-sourced fine art from over 50 Minnesota and Wisconsin artists, all for sale at prices that truly value the artists and their work. We also pride ourselves in sourcing almost all of our products - from high-quality gifts to beautiful home décor - from Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark. It's a Scandinavian haven in the heart of Minnesota!
Next time you're enjoying all that Lindstrom has to offer, make sure to stop by and say hello - we'd be delighted to see you!
